Nice and soft but smells Mar 07, 2007

This sleeper came to my house. I was very sick for a while only to find out that the mattress pad was smelly from the chemicals. I had to air it out for 3 weeks and spray frebreeze on it everyday. It smells much better now. I wrote to the company and they respectfully wrote back with many ways on how to air out the mattress sleeper. It was a very long letter so I am sure they have had other complaints. I still smell the chemicals but not as much as whence it first arrived. If I knew it was going to have a smell I probably would have not purchased it as I have asthma and very sensitive to smells. On the other hand, it is very soft. You decide.....
